Electromagnetic waves of wavelength $500 n m$ are incident on a YDSE apparatus. Both slits of the apparatus are of the same width. Given $d = 3 m m$ , $D = 2 m$ . Intensity at the central maxima is $1 W / m^{2}$ . The intensity in $(W / m^{2})$ at a point $1 m m$ above maxima of 1st order is

We know that,
$β = \frac{λ D}{d} = \frac{1}{3} m m$ that means it can have 3 maximas in $1 m m$ . At a point $1 m m$ above the 1st order maxima = 4th order maxima will be formed. Hence Intensity will be $1 W / m^{2}$ .
