Solution
The correct option is D Quinone
Photosystem-II is a photosynthesis pigment alongwith some electron carriers that is located in the thylakoid membrane. Photochrome has densers of special chlorophyll-a molecule called P680 which absorbs light and promotes one of its electrons to a higher energy i.e. transfers its electron to acceptor molecule pheophytin. The energized electron when hops downward, through several other pigmented molecules, on to plastoquinone A, and finally over to plastoquinone B. When it gets enough electrons, this small quinone is released from the photosystem.
