Pipelines transport network is a new arrival on the transportation map of India because it is used for transporting crude oil, petroleum product and natural gas. Its initial cost is high no doubt but its subsequent running costs are minimal. It is the most convenient means of transporting minerals and gas compared to the other means of transportation.
