$LHS = (\frac{4}{2} + \frac{2}{3}) + \frac{5}{2} = (\frac{12 + 4}{6}) + \frac{5}{2} = \frac{16}{6} + \frac{5}{2} = \frac{8}{3} + \frac{5}{2} = \frac{16 + 15}{6} = \frac{31}{6} RHS = \frac{4}{2} + (\frac{2}{3} + \frac{5}{2}) = \frac{4}{2} + (\frac{4 + 15}{6}) = \frac{4}{2} + \frac{19}{6} = \frac{12 + 19}{6} = \frac{31}{6} so, LHS = RHS, Hence, associative law is verified .$
