Why our skin becomesdry during winter season due to which we do get sratches on our skin ?

Cold air can hold less moisture as compared to warm air. The cold winter wind has less moisture in it as compared to warm wind so it leaves our skin dry. Also the strong cold wind strips the skin of the natural lipids that provide moisture to the upper layer. The home-heating system provides warm air that takes away moisture from the skin and environment.
