Solution

Dear Student,

Menleev's Periodic Table:
1.This periodic table is based on atomic mass.
2.There a total of 7 (Columns) groups and 6 (rows) periods
3.Elements are arranged based on their increasing atomic mass
4.There is no place alloted for isotopes.
5.Mendeleev's periodic table contained atotal of 66 elements
6.Noble gases have no position in this periodic table.
7.Transition elements were kept along with other representative elements in the same column

Whereas,
Moderm Periodic table
1.This periodic table is based on atomic numbers and electronic configuration.
2.There are a total of 18 groups and 7 periods.
3.Elements are arranged based on increasing order of their atomic numbers.
4.Isotopes are kept in the same place due to their atomic number being the same.
5.Modern periodic table contains 112 elements
6.Noble gases are present in a separate group called group 18
7.Transition and Inner transition elements are kept at separate blocks
