For 2 Ls, she uses 2 × 2 = 4 matchsticks

If this pattern continues, then for 3 Ls, she will use 2 × 3 = 6 matchsticks

For 4 Ls, she will use 2 × 4 = 8 matchsticks

So, the pattern is:
Number of Ls = 2 × Number of matchsticks

Given, number of matchsticks = a
Then, number of Ls = 2 × a
