Cookies sold in the first week = 99
Cookies sold in the second week = 111
Cookies sold in the third week = 90
Total number of cookies sold = 99 + 111 + 90
Using associative rule of addition, we get
= (99 + 111) + 90
= 210 + 90
= 300
Hence, 300 cookies were sold in all.
