Solution

The correct option is C x2+x+6
Given:–––––––
Let's make a table with Emma's daily page reading.
Total pages read in three days = Pages read on Monday + Pages read on Tuesday + Pages read on Wednesday

=(3x2+5x7)+(7x+9)+(2x2+3x+4)
Combining the like terms

=(3x22x2)–––––––––––+(5x7x–––––––+3x)+(7+9––––––+4)
Simpifyig the underlined terms

=x2+(2x+3x)+(2+4)

=x2+x+6

Therefore, Emma read x2+x+6––––––––– pages in three days.

Hence, option (c.) is the correct one.
