There are two type of physical quantities:

Fundamental Quantity:

  1. Those quantities which are basic in nature are known as fundamental quantities.
  2. These are seven in numbers.
  3. Ex: Length, mass, time etc

Derived Quantity:

  1. Those quantities which are formed by combination of two or more fundamental quantities.
  2. Ex: Force, momentum etc

In Kilogram, metre, second, newton, kelvin:

  1. Only newton is odd one since it is unit of force which is derived quantity in itself.
  2. Kilogram is unit of mass, meter is unit of length, second is unit of time and kelvin is unit of temprature all these are fundamental quantities.
