Angiosperms are seed generating plants. The unique feature of angiosperms is that it posses double fertilization. The pollen tubes are penetrated to the synergid, as a result, two sperms are released into the embryo sac. Here, one sperm fuses with the egg and forms a zygote and the other sperm fuses with the two polar nuclei of the central cell and forms a triple fusion (or endosperm nucleus). This kind of fusion is called double fertilization. Hence, the zygote consist of 2n (diploid) chromosomes and the endosperm nucleus consist of 3n chromosomes (triploid).
So, the correct answer is option C.
