Solution

Dear student,

Endosperm is the nutritive tissue formed during fertilisation in seeded plants. It provides nutrition to the developing embryo. While the nucellus is the central part of the ovule that protects embryo sac and stores reserve food material. In some plants, nucellus forms perisperm that also provides nutrition to the developing embryo in these plants.
