Solution

Two floral adaptations in Salvia are-
1) The flowers in Salvia are arranged in thysrus inflorescence. They are attractive and well adapted for cross-pollination through the agency of insects.
2) They show lever mechanism in which the corolla has a spreading upper lip. and a lower lip. When the insects land on the lower lip of the corolla to obtain the nectar it pushes the sterile lobes of the stamen inwards. Hence the anther lobes come down and shed the pollens on the back of the insect.
This results in its pollination.
