Solution

The correct option is C

A < B

Heat transfer, (H) from a body to another body is governed by the heat transfer formula,
H=m×c×ΔT
where m is the mass, c is the specific heat capacity and ΔT is the change of temperature.
Now according to above equation,
A substance with smaller value for specific heat capacity, c shows a greater or a higher rise in temperature, ΔT as compared to one with greater value of specific heat capacity, c for same amount heat transferred, H.
Hence, the specific heat capacity of body A is smaller than the specific heat capacity of body B.
