Women,who were traditionally home centred played a key and active role during the time of Indian struggle for freedom against the clutches of the British Raj.They took active part in the processions and picketing.From now onwards they were the active participants in the national development.During the times of peace they have like other citizens obeyed the rules,laws of the soil with without any extremist activity.Now - a-days we can see women in every arena which is meant for the development of the nation.
