Number of moles of urea 0.25m

The molar mass of urea(NH2CONH2)

NH2CONH2=(14+2×1+12+16+14+2×1)=60gmol-1

Therefore the mass of urea will be Numberofmolesofurea×molarmassofurea

And, the mass of 0.25moles of urea will be,

0.25mol×60gmol-1=15g

Thus, the mass of the solution is1000g+15g=1015g

1015gofaqueoussolutioncontainsurea=15g2500gofaqueouswillrequiresurea=151015kg×2500g=36.95g

Therefore, the mass of urea is required in making 2.5Kgof0.25molalaqueoussolutionis36.95g.
