Euglena in its gullet region possesses eyespot which is also called stigma. It is sensitive to light and helps in light perception. It influences the flagellar motion of the organism such that the organism moves towards light.
Ommatidia is the unit present in compound eyes of insects. It has photoreceptor cells for light perception.
