Given,

So, the ratio of distance traveled to the time taken by Eva is 2 : 20.

We have to find the time required to travel 10 miles.

Now, let's draw the double number line to represent the scenario.

For travelling 2 miles, 20 minutes is required.

We know, 2 × 5 = 10 if the antecedant 2 in the first number line is multiplied with 5 to get 10. Hence the consquent 20 in the second number line should also be multiplied with 5, we get 100
