Step 1 : Multiply the given decimals ignoring the decimal points

Step 2 : Add the number of decimal places in each number . In the product obtained , place the decimal point after the same number of digits ( from right to left ) as the total number of decimal places.

Since , the total number of decimal places in the given decimals = $4$ ( $3$ in $0.376$ and $1$ in $2.5$) .So ,we will place the decimal point after two digits from the right to left as $0.9400$ .

Thus , $0.376\times 2.5$ = $0.9400$ .
