Step 1 : Multiply the given decimals ignoring the decimal points

376×259400

Step 2 : Add the number of decimal places in each number . In the product obtained , place the decimal point after the same number of digits ( from right to left ) as the total number of decimal places.

Since , the total number of decimal places in the given decimals = 4 ( 3 in 0.376 and 1 in 2.5) .So ,we will place the decimal point after two digits from the right to left as 0.9400 .

Thus , 0.376×2.5 = 0.9400 .
