To find: $16 - 5 \times 3 + 4$

On applying the DMAS rule,

$16 - 5 \times 3 + 4 = 16 - 15 + 4$

$= 20 - 15$

$= 5$

$∴ 16 - 5 \times 3 + 4 = 5$

Hence, the required value is $5.$
