Using formula $(x + a) (x + b)$ = $x^{2} + (a + b) x + a b$
Writing $34 = 30 + 4$ and $36 = 30 + 6$
Taking $x = 30$ , $a = 4$ , $b = 6$ and substituting in the above formula we get: $(30 + 4) (30 + 6)$ = $30^{2} + (4 + 6) 30 + (4) (6)$ = $900 + 300 + 24$
Hence the correct answer is $1224$
