Ignore the decimals for now,
$\Rightarrow 5\times 6$
$=30$
$\Rightarrow 30\times 0.7$
$\begin{array}{c}30\\ \underset{–}{\times 7}\\ \underset{–}{210}\end{array}$
$0.5$ has $1$ decimal place, $0.6$ has $1$ decimal place and $0.7$ has $1$ decimal place. So, their product will have $1+1+1=3$ decimal places.
