Solution

The correct option is C events B and C are neither independent nor mutually exclusive
Solution -
P(A)=15 P(B)=16 P(AC)=120 P(BC)=38
Events A and C are independent
then,
P(AC)=P(AC)P(C)=P(A)(P(C))
1/20P(C)=15P(C)
P(C)=12
P(BC)=P(B)+P(C)P(BC)
=16+1238=724
P(BC)=P(BC)P(C)=7/241/2=712
P(B).P(C)=16×12=12
Events B & C are neither independent nor mutually exclusive
C is correct
