Solution

The correct option is C 5
Distance jogged by Joe every
morning = 1 km 500 m

Total distance jogged by Joe in
a week = 7,500 m

So, number of days Joe jogs in a week = 7,500 m ÷ 1 km 500 m

First, convert the distance jogged every day to a common unit (m).

1 km = 1,000 m

So, total distance jogged in 1 day = 1,000 + 500 m = 1,500 m

Calculating by long division method, we get:

515007500 7500–––2 0
So, Joe jogs 5 days a week.
