Every thing which is available on earth can that be termed as resources ? Which characteristics convert free gift of nature into resources

Dear student,
Everything that is available on the earth can not be termed as resource. Consider the following definition -
Everything available in our environment which can be used to satisfy our needs, provided, it is technologically accessible, economically feasible and culturally acceptable can be termed as ‘Resource’
Hence for being a resource a thing should have following characteristics-
1- It should be economically feasible i.e. its procurement should not cost more than its actual value.
2- We should have technology to pRocure that substance.
3- It should not be against the culture.
