Evolution is continuous or discontinuous process ?

Dear Student,

Considering the theories of natural selection and survival of the fittest,we see that evolution is a continuous process.Organisms evolve generation after generation in a continuous manner making themselves fit according to the changes in the environment.The vast diversity of organisms we see today are all result of this continuous process of evolution and this process of evolution will continue in future also.
