1. Actinomorphic: Flowers can be divided into equal halves by many planes of symmetry. e.g. Chilli, Datura, Hibiscus.
2. Zygomorphic: ​Flowers can be divided into equal halves by only one plane of symmetry. e.g. Bean, Pea.
3. Asymmetric: ​​Flowers cannot be divided into equal halves by any plane of symmetry. e.g. Canna.
