Staminate flowers:

  1. Staminate flowers are those that either have infertile female reproductive organs or exclusively have male reproductive organs or stamens.
  2. In order for a plant to self-pollinate, staminate and pistillate flowers are frequently found on the same plant.
  3. However, some plants produce only staminate or only pistillate blooms, with various species being categorized as either staminate or pistillate based on their flower type.
  4. Staminate flowers can be located on monoecious or dioecious species as well.

Examples:

Cucumbers, holly, and Chrysanthemums.
