Open in App
Solution

Our stomach releases a hydrochloric acid for digestion of food. But sometimes excess of hydrochloric acid is released which causes indigestion and pain in the stomach. The excess of hydrochloric acid in our stomach is known as acidity. Acidity can be removed by using antacids like "magnesium hydroxide", which neutralizes the acid in our stomach.
