  4. Inhibition of the growth of pathogens in plants.

Excessive use of antibiotics leads to deficiency disorders:

  1. Antibiotics refer to some chemicals that suppress the growth of bacteria.
  2. Excessive use of antibiotics can cause antibiotic-resistance capacity, due to which bacterial infections cannot be treated further.
  3. Prolonged use may also kill the useful bacteria present in the intestine which helps in synthesizing vitamins.
  4. This leads to vitamin deficiency disorders.
