Open in App
Solution

Dear student,

The element in bulb are heated to higher temperature to produce light. Argon is inert and does not react even at high temperatures. Tungsten wire gets heated easily and other gases which are non inert react frequently at high temperature, which may cause shock. So argon is filled in bulbs.
