Let the expenditure of company B in 2011 be Rs 100.
Then $\frac{(I_1-100)}{100}\times 100=35$
$\Rightarrow I_1=100+35=Rs135$
Now, expenditure in 2012 = Rs 9
Now, $\frac{(I_2-90)}{90}\times 100=45$
$\Rightarrow 405-10t_2+900=0$
$\Rightarrow I_2=\frac{1305}{10}=Rs130.5$
