Experts, Cartilage is very flexible, however, it has white collagen fibre which is non-elastic(i.e hard). So, Is it the matrix that provides all the flexibility to cartilage?? , Moreover, Pliability is also provided by the matrix, So, what is the significance of more white collagen fibres in cartilage?? (matrix -without including fibres in it).

cartilage is one of the structural connective tissue that is soft (softer than bone ;as it matrix has high organic matter ),pliable (it is flexible than bone as there is no inorganic salts and 80% of water but not flexible than mucsle as its matrix consists of collagen ), and avascular (without blood supply)
