Explain agriculture and crop plant in India

The practice of growing plants at a place is known as agriculture.

Crops are the cultivated plants that is grown as food and various other purposes. According to utilization of Indian crops, it is classified as three types-

1. Food crops - Crops which people used as their food in daily necessity life ( Rice, Wheat, Potato etc)

2.Plantation crops - Trade crops of India ( Tea, coffee)

3.Fiber crops - Used for making clothes ( Cotton, jute)
