Components of health-related fitness:

A. Flexibility:

B. Muscular endurance:

C. Body composition:

D. Cardiorespiratory endurance:

  1. It is the ability of the individual to carry out aerobic exercises for a long duration of time.
  2. It is the maximum functional capacity of the Cardio-respiratory system.
  3. This corresponds to the capacity of the lungs, heart, and vessels to supply nutrients and oxygen to the muscles in action.

E. Muscular strength:

  1. It is the strength that is vital to carry out everyday activities.
  2. It is referred to as the maximum force a muscle or cluster of muscles can exert against resistance at the time of one contraction.
