Features of the Deccan plateau.

• This plateau extends from the Vindhyas to the southern tip of peninsula.
• It is flanked by the Western ghats on the west and Eastern ghats on the east.
• The Arabian sea touches the Deccan plateau in the west and the Indian ocean touches it in the south.
• This plateau is triangular in shape it is widest in the north and narrowest in the south direction.
