Explain any three properties of magnetic field lines.
4. Two magnetic field lines cannot intersect each other. It is because at the point of intersection, two tangents can be drawn which means two directions of the magnetic field at a point which is not possible.
5. The density of field lines represents the strength of the magnetic field. The denser the field lines, the stronger the magnetic field and vice-versa.
6. Thus the magnetic field is stronger at the poles of a magnet because the relative density of field lines is more there.
