Explain any two functions of government.

The functions of the government:

1.Providing public services: the government should provide with all the necessary public goods. Like roads, law and order, education and medical services at very low cost. These goods should be equally available to both the rich and the poor.

2. Regulation of markets: the government should impose certain rules and regulations in the working of the market. So that there are not unfair practices undertaken by any market participants.
