Dear Student,

Coitus interruptus, also known as the rejected sexual intercourse, withdrawal or pull-out method, is a method of birth control in which a male withdraws his pe**s from a woman's vagi** prior to ejaculation so as to prevent insemination.

2. Lactational amenorrhea: It is the temporary postnatal infertility that occurs when a woman is amenorrheic (not menstruating) and fully breastfeeding. During this period due to high amount of prolactin and decreased amount of LH, ovulation is suspended. Sexual intercourse during this period does not results in pregnancy.
