Assembly line method of production is a manufacturing process in which the product to be manufactured from worker to worker along an assembly line. Workers put various parts to the product, with each worker specializing in a particular part. The process continues till the product acquires its final form.

The advantage of the assembly line production method is that it is highly efficient. Since each worker specializes in a particular task, the product can be manufactured very fast. Hence, the volume of production grows with this method.

The disadvantage of this method is that the work is very repetitive and monotonous for the worker.
