Some of the satellites launched by ISRO are:

1. INSAT & GSAT series : These series of satellites support our telecommunication network, television broadcasting and meteorological services.
2. EDUSAT series : The satellite in this series is used exclusively for education.
3. IRS series : This satellite series is used for the monitoring and management of natural resources as well as disaster management.
4. ASTROSAT : This satellite has ultraviolet & X-ray telescopes and detectors. It is a unique system having different kinds of telescopes on a single satellite. It has immensly helped the Indian scientists to study the various aspects of the universe using the data obtained with these telescopes.
