Evaporation is the process of conversion of water from a liquid state to gaseous state. In this process, heat is absorbed as the water vapour is formed. On a dry and sunny day, with a clear sky evaporation is faster than on a cool and moist day.
Condensation can be said to be the reverse of evaporation. It is the phenomena of formation of water molecules from water vapour, which definitely occurs in a cold and moist climate. It is essential to form clouds and water molecules are formed when the air cools down below the dew point.
