Explain briefly the relationship between poverty and population and how one affects the other.
Poverty is the result of being illiterate. Moreover, most of the rural population which forms the bulk of our society are still illiterate, ignorant and superstitious. They also do not know the functioning of the human reproductive system. This leads to excess of copulation which further leads to the population explosion.
And poor class think that the children will be able to provide the income of the family by working. Or more the children more will be the income. These factors caused by poverty make the people produce large families and in turn increase the overall population.
