Vaccines:

  1. These are dead microbes that are injected into our bodies to prepare an antibody against the respective diseases.
  2. These are given generally through the needle.
  3. They boost the immunity of our body.

Role of vaccines:

  1. The vaccine or the collection of germ substances is introduced into the body usually by injection and sometimes orally, e.g. Polio drops.
  2. Inside the body, the vaccine stimulates the WBCs to produce antibodies against germs for that particular disease.
  3. The terms "vaccine" and vaccination" was originally used for vaccination against smallpox, but now these are used in a general sense.
