The set of all ordered pairs a and b, where a is an element of A and b is an element of B, is called the Cartesian product of A and B and is denoted by A×B
For Example:
Let A = {1, 2, 3} and B = {a, b}. Then
A×B={(1,a),(1,b),(2,a),(2,b),(3,a),(3,b)}
