Solution

Dear student,

DC is the short form for Direct Current. The current that stays constant with time is called direct current. Current from a battery is direct current.Direct current is a unidirectional flow of current. It does not change with time and produced by sources such as solar cells, batteries, dry cells etc.

AC is the short form for Alternating Current. Alternating current is that in which the cycle of current changes alternatively with time.It the result of the current produced from an AC generator in which when the coil rotates in the magnet then the direction of current produced is changed alternatively.. The current in your home’s main line is an alternating current.
