Dear Student,

When the frequency of forced oscillation become equal to or is approximately equal to natural frequency of the oscillator, the amplitude of the oscillation becomes very large. In the resonance condition, large amplitude can be obtained by small amplitude force.
This is phenomenon related to resonance of forced oscillation.
