Dear Student,
• Fragmentation: Fragmentation is a mode of asexual reproduction. It is the unintentional cutting up of the body of an organism in which each grows into different organism. It is most commonly seen in some algae.
• Regeneration: Regeneration is the process where individual parts of an organism’s body have the capability to develop into a new individual. This process can be seen in many invertebrates such as Planaria, Hydra, Starfish etc (Lizard has the capability to regenerate its lost tail ).
