Explain how, burning of fuels such as coal, petrol and diesel leads to acid rain. How is acid rain harmful?

The gas release from burning of fuel petrol etc. goes into air and mixed with air and acid forms. when rain comes acid also come down and cause acid rain . example - it lead to skin diseases such as skin cancer.
