Finding the degree of a polynomial:

Definition of polynomial

Polynomial are algebraic expression that consists of variables and coefficients.

Arithmetic expression such as addition subtraction, multiplication and also positive integer.

The degree of a polynomial is the highest power of the variable in a polynomial expression.

For the constant polynomial, degree is zero because the highest power is zero.

Hence, the degree of the polynomial is Highest power of the variable.
